Introduction

 The object of the Devon Good Stewards Trust is to advance the Christian religion, as this is set forth in the Trust’s Objects in the Constitution. The advancement of religion is recognised as a charitable purpose having public benefit. The Trust operates in two ways:

a. By making grants to churches, other organisations or individuals subscribing to the Trust’s Statement of Faith to support them in carrying on activities which fulfill the Objects of the Trust.

b. To help churches, steward their money well, DGST has established the DGST Exeter Diocese Fund to enable parishes to make their contribution towards Diocesan work and ministry collectively with like-minded churches rather than directly with the Diocese or through their own Deanery.
